Huntington native, images of beaches, the sun rising expectantly or setting peacefully over the water and the changing
moods of the shore have inspired my art. Much of my work has been devoted to capturing the moment in a
landscape, still life, portrait or in abstraction.
It has been an honor to have my paintings be accepted and win awards in juried exhibits at the Huntington Arts
Council, Art League of Long Island, Islip Arts Council, The Art Guild of Port Washington, My Studio in Port
Washington and Northport Historical Society.
My recent pieces reflect changes in my life, and the way I - and all of us - are able to observe and navigate change.
Painting in the abstract has freed me to believe in not only what is seen, but what is felt - and to understand how
each person interprets and internalizes what they are viewing. It is exciting to experience this new perspective and to
continue to evolve as an artist.
Time evaporates when I am painting. I lose myself in the creative process and am happiest when holding a brush in
I hope that you enjoy my artwork, and that the images I have created touch you.
